Outcomes
Continuous evaluation and feedback mechanisms were integral to the success of the educational program. Surveys, focus groups, and performance assessments were used to gather input from nursing staff regarding the effectiveness, relevance, and impact of the training initiatives. Data collected through these channels informed ongoing improvements and refinements to the curriculum, delivery methods, and resource allocation strategies.
Background
In the dynamic environment of healthcare, ongoing education and training are essential to equip nursing staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality care. Caboolture's Emergency Department recognised the need for a structured educational program to onboard new staff members and support the ongoing development of existing personnel. The project emerged as a response to this imperative, aiming to establish a standardised framework that aligns with the department's objectives and caters to the unique needs of its workforce.
